Igdyr
Within the framework of the carpet recreation project, a unique piece was created representing the traditions of the indigenous Turkmen Iğdır tribe. In the 11th century, Mahmud al-Kashgari mentioned Iğdır as the twenty-first grandson of the legendary Oguz Khan. The color palette of Igdyr carpet products is distinguished by dark tones and a modest border row. The brown central field is filled with rows of "S-göl" with a "sawtooth" frame and an archaic "Kapsa-gel" pattern. The main border is "ak-gyra." This design belongs to the second group of "S-göl" carpets.
